Blacksmithing Classes

Introduction to Blacksmithing Classes

Blacksmithing classes are geared to the students level. Classes are very popular and a good way to share some important history.  This class is intended for adults. However, responsible and well-behaved youth are invited to participate with adult supervision.

Class fees will go to promote the art of blacksmithing. All interested in such classes should contact the Tonopah Historic Mining Park office at 775-482-9274

2019 Blacksmithing class dates will be posted at a later date.

The Tonopah Historic Mining Park gift shop sells open-ended blacksmithing class gift certificates,
50 lb. bags  of coal or coke for $38.00 a bag and "The Art of Blacksmithing Book" for $18.00.

A list of lodging in Tonopah can be found here. Dry camping is available on mining park grounds.
